Asian Congress of Nutrition in Singapore on July 13-16, 2011

At the XI Asian Congress of Nutrition, Danone Institute of Japan Foundation (DIJF) sponsored a Pre-congress Seminar in cooperation with DI Indonesia and DI China. Under the theme of “Progress of Dietary Guidelines in Asia”, 8 experts presented about respective countries. From Japan, Prof. Teiji Nakamura, President of the Japan Dietetic Association and also a DIJF scientific council, spoke about “Nutritional Policies and Dietary Guidelines in Japan”.These contents will be published on-line in the Asia Pacific Journal of Clinical Nutrition 2011; 20 (3), an internationally recognized scientific journal, in September.

Also in the Danone Group booth, exhibition was made with DI International. These activities helped to advertise the contribution of DIJF to the improvement of health and nutrition.
