To keep your body healthy, don’t be a picky eater!
Last year the Danone Institute of Japan conducted a survey regarding children’s health and nutrition. As a result, many parents noted “likes and dislikes” and “imbalanced nutrition” as their greatest concern. Responding to the results, we have developed this leaflet to assist children to understand the importance of a balanced diet and dairy products.
Children learn about three elements of nutrition while they enjoy following a board game to find a food belonging to each nutrient group such as the red group, yellow group or green group.
- Foods belonging to the red group are used for strengthening the blood and bones which make you grow bigger.
- Foods belonging to the yellow group provide you with energy.
- Foods belonging to the green group help improve your health and stop you getting colds.
